A new way to discover the WORLD!Now find information online about your favorite KUAC WORLD (9.2) programs, in addition to the CREATE Channel shows (9.3) at their websites. Find schedules for favorite shows, leave comments, and explore links to more information than you thought possible. View the CREATE schedule by selecting the ‘Alaska Time Zone’ viewing option; WORLD just launched their beta site this month, and haven’t added that feature yet, so be aware that the WORLD programming is listed by Eastern Standard Time, four hours different from the Alaskan time zone.

PBS KIDS’ Series sweep the Daytime Emmy Awards for the 13th year in a row! Print E-mail

15 Daytime Emmy AwardsPBS's television programming won 15 Daytime Emmy Awards – more than any broadcast or cable channel – during the annual award ceremony held Sunday, June 28.

All 15 awards went to PBS KIDS' series, making this the 13th consecutive year PBS won more awards for children's programming than anyone else. This year, "Sesame Street" won eight awards, and "The Electric Company" won five, including a sweep of all three major outstanding series awards. Other PBS winners were "Curious George" and the Marketing and Communications team, recognized for its PBS KIDS promotional spot.

KUAC congratulates all those partners who make PBS KIDS a trusted – and honored – destination for children across America.
