PBS's television programming won 15 Daytime Emmy Awards – more than any broadcast or cable channel – during the annual award ceremony held Sunday, June 28.
All 15 awards went to PBS KIDS' series, making this the 13th consecutive year PBS won more awards for children's programming than anyone else. This year, "Sesame Street" won eight awards, and "The Electric Company" won five, including a sweep of all three major outstanding series awards. Other PBS winners were "Curious George" and the Marketing and Communications team, recognized for its PBS KIDS promotional spot.
KUAC congratulates all those partners who make PBS KIDS a trusted – and honored – destination for children across America.
