Officials and volunteers are making final preparations in anticipation of the February 9th start of the 25th running of Yukon Quest international sled dog race. KUAC's Dan Bross reports on what goes on in the weeks leading up the event.

Yukon Quest Alaska Logistics Coordinator, Alex Oleson, uses a sledge hammer and punch to stamp aluminum tags for race dogs. Each musher's dogs have a different letter on their tag, which enables veterinarians and officials to identify the animals.
