Three time Quest champion Hans Gatt was the first musher to reach the Eagle checkpoint this morning. Gatt pulled in at 7:05. He's still running a full team of 14 dogs. Gatt made the hundred mile run from the Slaven's dog drop to Eagle in just over 19 hours. Several other teams that followed him fairly closely out of Slaven's yesterday afternoon are likely to follow soon. KUAC's Dan Bross and Libby Casey have more. Click here to Listen to the report.
